Field Service Transformation & SAP Integration

A stalled Field Service implementation modernized into a production-ready Salesforce architecture spanning industrial operations, mobile execution, and SAP integration redesign.

Challenge

Cenovus needed to modernize trucking and hauling dispatch operations across multiple production sites in Alberta. Processes previously relied heavily on paper and telephone workflows, and an existing SAP integration was built on a custom Salesforce application that prevented the business from unlocking native Field Service capabilities.

What AgilitySharp Built

AgilitySharp took over mid-project and delivered a complex Field Service implementation covering request, schedule, execute, and close workflows across desktop and the Field Service Mobile App. A custom SAP integration model built on 12 custom objects was redesigned into a cleaner multi-tenant architecture using 3 standard Field Service objects.

Impact

The redesign respected separation of concerns, enabled native Field Service capabilities, and supported a significant data migration. It delivered across two technically complex workstreams while stabilizing a stalled project inherited mid-stream.

Why It Matters

Operational AI and automation depend on disciplined Field Service architecture. This case shows how AgilitySharp approaches workflows where data, scheduling, mobile execution, integration, and measurable outcomes have to fit together.
